![]() N900: Ubuntu Lucid Firefox Read the fine print for the proof! |
![]() Cohiba Computer Another fun little computer I built, this time with a fancy cigar box. |
![]() Meego in Nokias Software Strategy A bad photo of a weirdly formatted slide. Still, the content is interesting. |

![]() Pac-Man Pancake Playing the part of a ghost, I proceeded to eat Pac-Man. Snapped with the N900, edited (colour balance, crop, resize) on-device with Easy Debian Gimp, and uploaded to Flickr from the device. |
![]() Community SSU: Even for 'unlocked' systems! Got a fancy rotation-enabled kernel? No problem! |
![]() Blurry N900 HDR Three photos taken with the N900's camera with a script then stitched together on-device with Easy Debian enfuse. |

![]() N800: Ultimate Portable USB Host The N8x0 tablets are still kings of the portable USB castle. Here my N800, with the assistance of four AA batteries and a USB hub, lets me copy files between my N900 and my 250GB portable HD. Oh, and by the way, I used this setup to copy this photo from the camera to the N900 via USB, then I used the Gimp on the N900 to edit the photo, and then I uploaded it to Flickr with Sharing on the N900. Matter of fact, I'm typing this on the N900 too ;-) |
![]() N900 Bubble IM Skin! Everything is aligned now in my custom IM skin based on Reflektorfalke's work. You can grab my skin files from this post and, as root, unzip them into /usr/share/rtcom-messaging-ui/html I found I had to open my chat window twice before the changes took effect. |
![]() Bubbles in N900 Conversation I'm using Reflektorfalke's bubble mod for IM conversations (with some small tweaks). Looks cool, but can be a bit confusing when sending short messages! |

![]() In-Browser Java Applet on N900 Finally got it working! A Java applet in a browser on the N900! So its the Epiphany browser not MicroB, but you can't have everything... Now to figure out what I did so I can reproduce it... |
![]() Colima Ruins and Volcano These are the Pre-Columbian ruins at Colima with the still-active volcano in the background. See the previous photo in my photostream for the original. This is the result of editing with Gimp on the N900 to improve the colours, contrast, crop, etc. |
![]() Colima Ruins (Original) This is a picture of Colima's Pre-Columbian ruins as originally taken by the N900's camera. |
